Dolce & Clemente's has years of experience catering a variety of corporate and social events from 20 to 200. We offer different ways to cater your special events. You can choose from the Hot Buffet Package, the Ala Carte menu, or a combination of both. We also have a Corporate Hot Buffet Package for office lunches. You can order from our catering menu online. But let’s face it, sometimes you need to talk to a human being. We’re not just a website. We’re real people who love to help. That’s why we answer the phone with a real live person. But before you call us, see below for some FAQS that may answer your questions.

What type of events does Dolce & Clemente‘s cater?

We cater all kinds of events...birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, Baptisms, Confirmations, Communions, weddings, get-togethers, family reunions, picnics and barbecues, Valentine’s Day dinners for two or more, Easter, Memorial Day barbecues, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving feasts, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day...and many, many, more!

How much notice do I need to give for a catering order, and when is the best time to call?

We prefer at least 3 days advance notice for all catering events. Call us at 609.259.0072 any day before 11am and after 2pm and receive personalized service.

What information do I need before I place an order?

1. When is your event? Please tell us the time of day, day of week, and preferred date of the event.
2. What type of event are you catering? Is it a birthday, communion, graduation, or another type of personal, holiday, or business celebration?
3. How many people will attend? How many adults and how many children?
4. What services do you prefer? Are you planning appetizers, a cocktail party, a full meal, or something else?
5. Do you have any special requests? Are there food allergies, vegan or vegetarian requests, gluten free foods, or other special requests?
6. A contact name, telephone number, and email.

How much food should I order? How can I make sure there will be enough food for everyone?

While every event is different, there are some general rules on how much food to order. The purpose of the event, length of event, time of day, and other factors determine the amount of food that you should order. Our catering team will be happy to assist you. Start by reviewing our catering menu. You then can either order online, call to ask for assistance in planning your menu, or come in to see us!

Do you have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu options?

Yes we do! Our online menu displays these options. For additional questions, please contact a team member to discuss various options.

Do you charge for utensils and serving items?

There is no extra cost for standard, compostable equipment including plates, napkins, and cups when applicable. Plastic serving utensils and cutlery will also be provided.

TRAY SELECTION GUIDE
FOR ALL PACKAGES

The chart indicates an approximate amount of hot ala carte food trays you should order based on the number of guests. If your buffet includes appetizers, salads, and sandwiches, fewer hot trays will be needed.

Of course, you may want to order a little extra of your favorite so you have leftovers!

Do you deliver? Is there a charge for delivery?

Yes! With the delivery option, our staff will set up your order with all of the utensils and necessary items. There is never a deliver charge for catering services.

What areas does Dolce & Clemente deliver catering to?

We provide delivery to the greater New Jersey region. We do, however, deliver outside of this area on occasion - so simply just let us know where your event is being held.

Can I pick up my order?

Sure! When placing the order, please select pick up and pick up time. Also, please choose a hot or cold option for pick up.

What can I expect from Dolce & Clemente’s catering?

You can expect delicious, quality, homemade food, excellent service, and the promise that we will exceed your expectations.

How are items on the menu packaged, presented, and served? What should I do before the food arrives?

All hot foods arrive hot in aluminum trays and all cold foods are refrigerated in plastic trays to ensure maximum freshness and quality. We ask customers to provide ample table space to set up the food. We do the rest and will provide racks, Sterno, water pans, and serving utensils. Eating utensils are available upon request.

How do I set up the racks that you provide?

We have created these Instructions for Using Racks and Sterno which explain exactly what to do.

Do you rent Sterno and racks set-ups?

The answer is no and here is why. Since we cannot verify exactly how the racks are used, and with the possibility of allergic reactions and food-borne bacteria, it is our policy to provide new, clean, Sterno set-ups to each and every order.

The cost is $8.00 per set-up which includes a rack, a water pan and 3 Sterno cans. Two cans are for heating up your food and the third is for keeping food warm after the initial cans go out. The Sterno cans generally last for a little over two hours.

How much time do I have to make changes to my orders?

Menus should be finalized no less than 48 hours prior to your event. If it is a holiday your menu should be finalized no less than 72 hours prior to your event. This is so that we can prepare accordingly. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Why am I unable to complete my online order?

You may be unable to complete your online order if there are schedule conflicts. Requested delivery time is less than 24 hours, minimum order amount has not been met, delivery is for the day and or time we are closed or fully scheduled, or there is an incomplete order or incomplete payment information. Please review your order and/or delivery time or day to see if any of these apply. If you still have an issue with our online ordering system, please call us at 609.259.0072 to speak with and/or place your order with a representative.

If I need to cancel my event, what is your cancellation policy?

Many caterers automatically charge a gratuity. How much does Dolce & Clemente’s charge?

We never charge a gratuity of a service charge.

Will you supply wine, beer, or alcohol?

We do not provide any alcohol service but will be happy to recommend spirits to pair with your catered event.

Dolce & Clemente’s offers 100's of imported and domestic cheeses from Italy, Spain, France, Denmark, and around the world. Stop by for some of our fresh, homemade Italian bread and your favorite cheese. Purchase a bottle of wine at your preferred liquor store to pair with our cheese.
