If you are ever in Robbinsville, NJ and get a chance to visit Dolce & Clemente's you will understand what I am about to tell you. It brings you back to the old days when you went to the Italian market with your mom. It is that experience with a whole new flair. The family atmosphere provides you with a feeling like you have known them for years,
Whether you speak to Joey, Frank or Joe Sr. there is a connection you can't get in any other shop. As their # 1 customer, I look forward to going there several times a week. There is something for everyone, from gourmet prepared foods to specialty cheeses or homemade breads, you will not be disappointed. Whether it is the quality of their meats or sandwich menu your pallet will reach new heights. As someone who loves to cook, I understand the love and care that goes into their work, using the highest quality ingredients. Joey and his staff make you feel like you are very special and want you to be a satisfied customer, no matter who you are. In a time where customer service is not a priority the staff at Dolce & Clemente is committed to change that. The community at Washington Township Center has been illuminated by a star that will shine forever.
So, stop in and pay a visit and enjoy! Mangi!
My wife and I grew up in a section of Trenton called 'Chambersburg'; a largely Italian populated neighborhood. On almost every street corner in Chambersburg there was either a wonderful Italian restaurant or a Tomato Pie restaurant. Scattered throughout this charming neighborhood were family run Italian delis and bakeries. There was always a flavorful aroma in the air. If you wanted Italian, Chambersburg was the place to go.
Presently, we live in the Washington Town Center in Robbinsville and we found ourselves missing the amenities of Chambersburg. Last year however, all that changed. Dolce and Clemente's Gourmet Italian Market opened in the Town Center which brought back the memories and flavors of 'The Burg', ONLY BETTER! Dolce and Clemente's has just about everything an Italian market can offer. The deli counter has a variety of sandwiches which contain gourmet cold cuts. Hanging above the counter is an assortment of cheeses that adds to the look of an Italian deli. Many different types of cold salads will make a difficult decision for the customer; except no decision is wrong because everything is so delicious. There are prepared foods as well: from lollipop pork chops to eggplant stackers; the choices seem endless. There is a butcher on site that will cut any meat to your liking. The bakery has many different types of pastries, cakes and bread…just looking at the Tiramisu will make your mouth water. In addition, Dolce and Clemente's will cater your next party.
There are many more aspects to Dolce and Clemente's Gourmet Italian Market but the thing my wife and I like the best is the friendliness of the staff. Each and everyone makes you feel welcomed and want you to enjoy your gastronomic experience. A Brooklyn-style Italian Deli in Robbinsville…fuhgeddaboutit.

When it comes to eating - our family has a passion for it! And when it comes to preparing menus for your next party, cooking homemade family recipes or hosting parties; Joe and his family at Dolce & Clemente (D&C) share those same passions.
As I was raised in a traditional Italian family, I can remember spending every holiday at my grandparents' house enjoying meals that were prepared in the basement of their home where you would find their "Second Kitchen!" And while I was growing up, my family owned and operated an Italian market serving fresh homemade pastas and traditional Italian favorites to the community in which we lived. Given my family background, we are always looking for someone who shares our same PASSION for fine Italian family traditions. Until recently, I couldn't find a truly authentic version of our traditional favorites. That's when I met Joe Clemente and Frank Dolce – or should I say, "DOLCE and CLEMENTE!!!"
Beyond the walls of their amazing store, they cater off-premises and host private parties in their VENUE. Having used them for both, I can truly say that they have what no other establishment in this area has to offer. Whether it's your child's first birthday, where they serve the most convenient "mac-n-cheese bites" or your son's Christening, D&C takes away all of your party planning stress and handles everything from menu preparation to the table decor.
So, whether you're picking up what I like to call the "Tuscan Breakfast," ordering one of D&C's signature sandwiches for lunch, or choosing a quick last minute dinner from a selection of made fresh daily homemade specialties - YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HERE!
The Story behind the "Tuscan Breakfast!" - A few years ago, while my wife and I were Honeymooning in Italy, we were driving through Tuscany from Florence on our way to Rome. Somewhere in between (you'll learn that all roads in Italy either lead to Florence or Rome), we were served a HOMEMADE "TUSCAN BREAKFAST" in the hills of the Town of Moltepulciano. I remember pulling over in what I thought was a rest area and had the greatest gastronomical experience of my life. We were led by our hands to a table in an empty dining room by a little old Italian woman, who disappeared into her kitchen and returned moments later pushing a silver cart full of FRESHLY sliced homemade prosciutto, a few wedges of HOMEMADE cheese, a loaf of freshly baked bread and pastries and a nice hot cup of CAFÉ AMERICANO (a watered down version of espresso!); and we were treated like FAMILY!!! This was one of those experiences that we will always cherish and never forget.
I am always reminded of that morning when I enter D&C, where you can find all of the above within the walls of the Dolce and Clemente store – including the strong family traditions and a couple of much younger ITALIAN men!!!

I used to work in Robbinsville and would run over to Dolce & Clemente's for lunch daily. Everything I had was a taste sensation. In fact the people I worked with saw my lunches and they started going there for their lunches.
Recently Dolce & Clemente's catered my grand daughter's graduation. Everyone who attended commented on the wonderful food. The food was fresh, and so very tasty. We cannot express how happy we are with the decision to have Dolce & Clemente provide the food.
Everything was fresh tasting and the 18 year olds all loved the food especially the ribs and pulled prok. They were to "die for" as they aptly put it. We will definitely be using them again when the occasion warrents. I believe a few people at the party will be calling Dolce & Clemente's for their catering.
Dolce & Clemente thank you for going above and beyond with the food. Love, love, love your food. Now that I am working in Oak's PA are your sure you don't want to open a branch there? Thank you once again.
Regards,
Angela Gallagher
